A lake with a
perfectly good name.
Because apparently this needed to be said.
Somebody floated the idea of calling it Lake America. We took that about as seriously as it deserved — and then made merchandise about it, because that felt like the most Canadian possible response.
Always Lake Ontario is a message first. The hats and shirts are just how the message travels: to the ferry docks, the beaches, the marinas, the streetcars, the group chats. Lake Ontario is here to stay. Wear the reminder.
We make small runs, keep the embroidery understated, and put the money into blanks that hold their shape. Understated patriotism, in a size medium.

- Is this a political thing?
- No. We like the name just fine. That's the whole position.
- Do you actually hate America?
- Not remotely. We just aren't handing over a lake.
- What are the pieces made of?
- Heavyweight cotton tees and crewnecks, structured caps and embroidered beanies. Premium blanks, quiet embroidery, built to be worn constantly.
- How do they fit?
- Tees and crewnecks run true to size with a relaxed body. Size down for a closer fit.
Shipping & returns
Every piece is printed and embroidered in Ontario, then made to order. We don't keep a warehouse of finished goods — we make yours when you order it, which keeps things fresh and a little more deliberate.
Orders are processed within 2–3 business days, then handed off to the carrier. Tracking arrives the moment your label is created.

Exact rates are calculated at checkout based on your address. Duties and taxes (if any) are the receiver's responsibility on international orders.
Returns
Unworn, unwashed pieces can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Made-to-order items are yours once they ship, but if something's off — wrong size, a misprint, lost in transit — write to us and we'll sort it quickly and politely, as is tradition.
